JobSaver to be Tapered Off

The NSW JobSaver program will be tapered off when NSW reaches it’s vaccination targets. If you are receiving the JobSaver payment, you will need to continue to reconfirm your eligibility each fortnight to continue receiving payments.

The JobSaver payments will be tapered off as follows:

When NSW’s vaccination rate reaches 70% of the eligible population, JobSaver payments will taper from the current payment rate, which is equivalent to 40% of weekly payroll, to 30% of weekly payroll. It is anticipated that this will occur by 10 October 2021. From then, the payments will continue to taper down with the view to end all JobSaver payments on 30 November.

After NSW reaches the 80% double vaccination target, the micro-business grant will continue to be available at a rate of $750 a fortnight, before also ceasing on 30 November.
