These tend to be the most common generalisations that you hear when it comes to meditating. But the general approach to meditation cannot be further from these so-called truths. It doesn’t have to take more than a few minutes daily, you can afford that right? It’s a practice that doesn’t discriminate based on religion, age, gender or orientation and is as simple as observing your breathing.
So we decided to focus on meditating for our Wellbeing Program this month. We are wanting to explore the psychological, physiological and spiritual impacts frequent practice has on oneself.
We explored the scientific facts into meditation and have found that it is proven to:
Our challenge for the month would be to complete a minimum of 5 minutes worth of meditation per day. Not doing so results in a donation into our kitty that goes to charity at the end of the year.
