The NSW Government has announced a Small Business Grant to assist businesses impacted by the current COVID-19 restrictions in Greater Sydney.
The Australian Government Covid-19 Disaster Payment is a support payment for workers who have been affected by Government restrictions and an associated public health order.
With new technology comes new scams. The ATO has issued warnings relating to emails impersonating myGov and ASIC has also notified Australian’s of cold calls and emails which encourage superannuation rollovers.
The ATO has announced it will run a new data-matching program to collect property management data for the 2018-19 to 2022-23 financial years. The purpose of this program is to magnify any “tax gaps”.
